The ski season has started off very well for team USA. With multiple podiums being put down at the first world cups of the season. By Tyler Walker and Thomas Walsh, starting off the season right with some silver medals in GS at the world cup races in Kuhtai Austria. The speed races in St Mortitz Switzerland were unfortunately canceled due to the amount of snowfall. Which was unreal and fun to ski, although it was unfortunate we didn’t get to race. Luckily as a team we were able to get some solid training in at both St Mortiz Switzerland and Kuhtai Austria. Now the team has just gotten home from a good trip. Spending time with family for the holidays. But still training daily and being on snow as much as possible.
Here in Aspen Colorado the crew has been going non stop. Getting ready for our next world cup trip, which takes us from Tignes France back through Switzerland and even as far as Croatia. It will be a testing trip where we will be on the road for nearly a month and almost all of January. But the great news is all these races will be streamed live. At the World Para Alpine Skiing Website. Got to THIS LINK to watch and get the full schedule of events! You can also follow World Para Alpine skiing on Facebook. The races will all be streamed live on their page!
In the mean time we promise to ski fast take chances and train our hardest. Please follow the social media pages of all the different athletes and follow our journeys to Pyeong Chang! Ill be doing my best with all the updates i can, throughout the season! Thank you for all your support and believing in the best team in the world!
